It's been a while...

Sorry I haven't posted in a while - 'tis the season I guess! I'll try to be more consistant in the coming year - but don't hold me to it.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas where you are. We did - crazy as usual, but fun to be with family.

I'm working on some new things that I'm hoping to share with you. One is a Blog I've started dedicated to vintage books - buying, selling and collecting. Since that is my first love, I thought I might share some of my books with you along with articles I find about books. You can visit Vintage Books ala Carte HERE. Let me know what you think.

Something else that may be of interest to those of you who are trying to make some extra money online is an ebook I recently purchased called 5 Bucks a Day. It's not your typical "do this, this, and this and you'll get rich" book. Instead the author, Dennis Becker shares how he learned the hard way to change his thinking at making money on the internet. He, like me, used to flit around from one project to another - only to see them fail time and again. Goals were never met, progress never made. One day, he came to a realization that he needs to focus on one project at a time until it's making 5 bucks a day before moving on to the next project.

Five dollars a day doesn't seem like much, but when you compound that over time, increasing that from $5 to $10 to $20 and so on, for several different venues - it adds up. Dennis doesn't share anything "new" persay - instead he shows you how to think differently. What's even better - you can join his message board and talk to him directly - ask question - even brainstorm with others on projects you can undertake to start making 5 Bucks a Day.

This is a very interesting topic, and I'm thinking of sharing some of my successes/failures with it over the next few months from time to time. Ebay would have to be my first $5/day success and hadn't read the ebook yet. I made it my priority, and worked at it until it was producing income daily. Everyday? Not quite, but getting there. If you average my sales per day, I'm at about $30 - so, I have surpassed the $5 mark. Am I where I want to be? Not yet, but getting there, one step at a time.

So check out the 5 Bucks a Day ebook and let me know what you think. If you try some projects, let us know how they pan out.

Until next time - have an awesome day!
